Purity Club is an alternative lifestyle social lounge bar and hire centre, operated as a safe place for all members and visitors. The club is 18 years minimum for entry, and proof of age can be requested at any time.
We operate on a membership basis for the safety of all persons whilst on the club premises. There is an annual membership fee, as shown in the membership section, and I.D. is required. Memberships can be removed for infringement of rules, and are only given at the operators discretion and may be suspended or removed at any time.
You may reserve a table to be certain of entry, see club home page, and on certain events, numbers will be restricted and we cannot guarantee entry.
We have a double entry system with a secure reception area where we may include scanning and metal detection etc.. At certain times we will also provide a cloakroom service for a fee of 50p to £1 depending on the event.
All persons on the club premises must be respectful of all race, colour and gender orientations, and not be judgmental. All members should be friendly to all other members and act in a sociable and approachable manner.
We have published opening times, and additionally, we can open other hours for private hire requests.
Due to Covid 19, we have all social distancing, sanitising, temperature monitoring, hand treatment stations, cleaning and safety measures in place, and signage throughout the premises tells customers how to follow these rules. In line with Wolverhampton City licensing requirements, we reserve the right to search prior to and after entry, and refuse entry or barred from the premises to anyone bringing weapons or drugs onto the premises, or those acting in a drunken, abusive or aggressive manner.
At certain times we will employ SIA approved security staff, and operate a secure entry validation system for members.
In keeping with Wolverhampton City guidelines, please dress appropriately as we have changing rooms and lockers within the club, so you can change into uniforms, outfits or dress down once inside the club. Upon leaving, please change back into appropriate wear. To the rear, we have an outside enclosed area that is safe to use in all conditions. For casual wear, please do not turn up in tracksuits, hoodies, offensive or scruffy T shirts or scruffy trainers etc.. Please dress smart casual, formal, glamourous, sophisticated or stunning.
Licensing & Drinks
Due to Covid 19, we will operate outside of licensing to begin with, so you may bring in your own alcoholic drinks. Please do not bring in mixers, soft drinks, beverages or food/snack items, as these will be on sale in our bar area. We will provide glasses and chilling facilities, and reserve the right to charge a corkage/cooler charge for those bringing in their own alcoholic drinks.
If we choose to implement full licensing, then you will not be allowed to bring in any drinks.
Data Use & CCTV
We have all customer records on file, that is not accessible to anyone, and only upon request from Wolverhampton City officials and the Police will relevant information be given.
CCTV covers all entrances, exits and bar area, and is on a rolling 14 day program, and not available for viewing unless a log recorded incident is activated, or a written request is received from the police, following a serious incident. After 14 days the loop is overwritten and no CCTV records are available or stored.
You may enter the club premises as an existing member, or take out a new membership upon arrival (see membership section for required proof of person & address), and we grant membership to all that meet our requirements regarding age, politeness and good manners. We reserve the right to refuse entry for dress code, behavior or if the membership is closed for numbers exceeded or safety reasons.
Existing members can bring a guest with them, but again I.D. will be required and membership granted subject to standard conditions. Again, there is no guarantee of entry, and refusal is an option based on dress code, behavior, numbers in the club etc..
Lockers are available and towels for certain events, but the club accepts no responsibility for any property left in lockers, or for cars in our car park, or for any personal belongings anywhere on the club premises. The private car park only has access for 4 cars, so is not open to the general public, and only for the use of principals who are hiring the club. There is a 500 vehicle car park within 2 minutes walk of the club.
We hire out to many event organizer's, and some are only for group members, whilst other events are open to everyone, check on the events page. The main bar is open to club members at all times, although with some main events, there will be the event entry fee, again check on the events page.
If you think you have left something at the club, please call us and our cleaning staff place all found items in the reception locker. If we do find it you have 7 days to come and collect the item. We cannot post anything out or keep for longer than 7 days.
